Batman forever: Gwen Stefani holds hands with little caped crusader Kingston as they visited Hollywood's Pumpkin Patch yesterday

Mr Bones Pumpkin Patch really is the best place for a little star spotting at this time of year.

Gwen Stefani and her cute children Kingston, 4, and Zuma, 2, got into the Halloween spirit as they went for a day out at the Beverly Hills attraction, a favourite for A list stars and their offspring.

Kingston looked cool in a Batman outfit, while Zuma made do with a face painting and casual attire.

Meanwhile Gwen, 40, looked as stylish as ever, sharply dressed in a charcoal grey short sleeved poloneck and baggy trousers, with a cool knotted belt and black boots.
But her stylish ensemble didn't stop her from joining in on the bouncy slide.

Gwen and her husband Gavin Rossdale, the former Bush frontman, celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary last month.

Her husband hit the headlines recently over revelations that he had a gay affair with pop star Marilyn in the 1980s when he was just 17 years old.

There was no sign of Rossdale at the Pumpkin Patch, but Gwen was able to use her nanny as a second pair of hands, handing over Kingston so she could focus on her younger son.

Other celebrities to have visited the park include Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg, Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross and English rose Kate Beckinsale.

While rockers picking out pumpkins for the annual holiday have so far included Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst and Kiss lead singer Paul Stanley, both of whom visited with their families.
