Wow! Fergie did the splits while performing in New Jersey with the Black Eyed Peas last night
It seems Black Eyed Peas star Fergie took her band's new hit Rock That Body as an instruction while on stage in Newark, New Jersey.
The 35-year-old put her impressive flexibility on show as she did the splits while wearing a PVC leotard, matching jacket and thigh-high studded boots.
She looked at ease as she sat in the position while jamming with the band's trumpet player.
Thighs the limit: The pop star wore a pair of high black boots with her costume
The band are currently making their way around the east coast over the next couple of days with a stop in Hartford, Connecticut, tomorrow.
The Black Eyed Peas will soon be releasing their be sixth studio LP, titled The Beginning.
According to Will.i.am, the LP: 'symbolises growth, new beginnings and starts, a fresh new perspective.'
'It's a positive, feel-good [album] at the time where there's question marks and uncertainty. People want to be reminded that it's going to be all right,' he says.
Crowd pleasers: The audience seemed delighted by the show
He also confirmed that the album the follow up to 2009’s The E.N.D, will be out by the end of the year.
And Fergie is also juggling promotional duties for her latest project - her own perfume.
The star was busy promoting the fragrance, called Outspoken, earlier this week after teaming up with beauty giant Avon.
According to Fergie, the scent is 'bold with a Rock-n-Roll Boudoir vibe that will shock you.'
