Mr Cooper, 32, proposed at sunset on the balcony of their £800-a-night suite, which overlooks the Indian Ocean.A friend of the couple told the Mail: ‘It has been a terrible time for Lily and Sam, but they are totally in love with one another.‘It all came out of the blue - but Lily was overwhelmed and they are both overjoyed. They can look to the future now.’The couple celebrated in the hotel bar with fellow guests, drinking champagne and cocktails until the early hours.
