A video filmed to serve as a promotional effort for Simon Cowell's charity single "Everybody Hurts" has been released. It features scenes of Haitian people crying for help post the earthquake which are mashed up with footage of the stars, including Mariah Carey and Miley Cyrus, recording the song in the studio.
A remix of R.E.M.'s song of the same name, "Everybody Hurts" is opened with verses from Leona Lewis and followed by Rod Stewart. Other big musicians involved in this project are Girls Aloud's Cheryl Cole, Mika, Joe McElderry, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Jon Bon Jovi, James Morrison, James Blunt and Susan Boyle.
It has been made available for digital purchase on February 7. All Proceeds from the sale of the remixed track will benefit The Sun's Helping Haiti and the Disasters Emergency Committee.
